Our members are treated to an array of resort amenities throughout the community and Club. Challenge yourself on our championship golf course, enjoy elegant or casual chef driven dining in The Pinnacle Grill, pick up a game of tennis or pickleball, or join one of the many social clubs. The Club is committed to providing our members with endless opportunities to connect with other like-minded new friends and live a socially rich life that is full of indoor and outdoor recreation.

Golf Course

The most spectacular amenity is the 27-hole championship golf course. Situated in the heart of the community, our course boasts premium Hill Country terrain with the best course conditions in the state. Designed by experienced golf course architects, members can enjoy challenging holes and natural features including lakes, streams, and majestic oaks throughout. Whether you are a scratch golfer or just beginning, there is a group for you. The Club at Comanche Trace offers membership in several golf organizations including our Men’s Golf Association, Ladies Golf Association, and Lady Niner’s Group. Our team of golf professionals offers lessons to players interested in honing their skills. Be sure to take advantage of our 15-acre practice facility to tune up your short-game or long drives.

Club House

Our impressive 24,000-square-foot Club House sits atop one of the highest points in Kerr County offering stunning views of the Texas Hill Country. The Club House features fine and casual dining at The Pinnacle Grill, the beautiful Vista Room & Lounge event space offering 360-degree panoramic views, a full-service golf and lifestyle shop, bag storage and men’s and ladies’ locker rooms. Members enjoy no room rental fee for banquet service and private events.

Fitness Center

We’re excited to announce that our new 3,000 sq. ft State-of-the-art Fitness Center is currently undergoing renovations to provide an elevated experience for our Members to enjoy very soon. This includes new Freemotion strength training machines and cardio equipment, expanded free weights and stretching area along with a variety of instructor lead fitness classes in our new Movement Studio and personal training sessions from one of our on-staff personal trainers.

Swimming Pool and Hot Tub

The pool is open from May 1st through October 1st for all members. Events may also be booked to take advantage of the poolside setting.

Clubs Within a Club

Tennis & Pickleball tennis

The tennis & pickleball courts are open year-round to all club members. Groups will coordinate play or lessons amongst themselves.

Taphouse

The Taphouse is a member only amenity. Situated next to the practice facility and putting green, golfers can enjoy a relaxing pit stop. The Taphouse offers a variety of on tap and canned beer options as well as sodas, wine and water.

Catch and Release Fishing Lake

Lake Comanche is open for fishing to residents and members year round. It is stocked with bass, catfish, and brim. Because it is a catch-and-release program, no fishing license is required. The 4 acres allow avid fishermen to roam around the shoreline to find that perfect catch.

River Park

The 8-acre Guadalupe River Park is available to residents for picnics, walks along the river, great fossil hunting and gatherings of family and friends. The area may be booked as an event setting with reservations, or may be enjoyed at will to enhance your outdoor enjoyment. A small pavilion with fireplace, along with a firepit and stairs that lead to the river are available for all residents of Comanche Trace.

Walking & Biking Trails trails

There are over 4 miles of crushed granite walking trails with various terrain and a 2 mile off road biking trail available to residents. The surrounding Hill Country is an excellent place for back-road biking and hiking.

Community Garden

Small, raised-bed plots with individual water spigots are available to residents who wish to grow vegetables or flowers with their neighbors. It is a very friendly place that grows new friendships along with plants. The garden is high-fenced to keep the deer out.

Member Events

Throughout the year, our members participate in a multitude of enjoyable planned activities, special events, and themed parties. Great effort goes into every detail of a Comanche Trace event, whether it’s a golf competition, Holiday buffet or Member Mixer. Annual golf events are especially exciting, accompanied by fun-filled barbeques and cocktail receptions to celebrate each event. Choose your favorite pastime and you’ll find it at Comanche Trace.
