From the Tee to the green

Comanche Trace offers some of the best golf in the state. Our private 27-hole championship golf course welcomes the best golfers in Texas and routinely hosts qualifier events for USGA events, including the U.S. Open, numerous qualifiers for the PGA Tour’s Valero Texas Open, PGA section competitions, collegiate and junior championships, and a variety of Texas Golf Association events.
Comanche Trace has a unique course design offering beautiful golf holes, natural contouring, and pristine conditions. With a blend of bentgrass, 93 bentgrass and crenshaw, Comanche Trace course conditions are renowned among golfers both near and far.
Our 27-hole golf course is perfect for golfers looking for a challenge and a remarkable climate that offers great conditions all year round. In addition to the course, members and guests are invited to take advantage of our 15-acre practice facility, putting green, and state-of the-art pro shop.

The practice facility offers access to tee boxes on both ends of the facility. The south end features a complete short-game area with dedicated pitching and putting green plus, its own fairway and greenside bunker for practice.

Fall / Winter Hours : 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM

The clubhouse at Comanche Trace includes a dedicated Pro Shop with apparel, shoes and equipment from the top athletic brands such as Adidas and Callaway.
Residents with golf carts are welcome to use them throughout the community and from the first tee to the 18th hole. All private carts must be inspected annually and approved by golf staff.

Major Hosted Golf Events

Comanche Trace attracts many different levels of players and it fits everyone’s golf game so you can enjoy the architecture and natural beauty. We also host tour players for Valero Texas Open qualifying rounds, as well as AT&T,, U.S. Senior Open and U.S. Am qualifiers. Collegiate and junior tournaments, section championships and other prestigious events choose Comanche Trace because we support the game of golf at all levels.
Our members are excited and often volunteer to help with these events, and they love having the likes of David Duvall, Bob Estes and Tom Kite occasionally stop in to play. Even Patrick Reed was here when he put in a stretch of five Mondays before he received his full PGA status!
